Kim Moody Design was the best to work with. I live in Utah, my mom is in Georgia, and we were getting married in Virginia. I was so stressed coordinating all the vendors when I started the wedding planning myself.

KMD was great stepping into the work I had started and immediately took a huge load off my shoulders. KMD worked super hard to make the ceremony and reception spaces perfect for our guests. Kim Moody Design made sure my ideas as the bride, came first.

I can’t thank you guys enough for keeping me sane. You both were there every step of the way on Friday and Saturday – I would have simply been lost without you guys. There is just so much that you don’t account for on your wedding day – no matter how much of a control freak I can be I would have never been able to keep things together last weekend. You both were very empathetic to my ALMOST meltdown and helped me remain calm. I would have probably lost sight of the importance of what my wedding day truly symbolizes but you guys took care of those details so that I could stay focused on marrying my best friend.

Anyway – I just wanted you to know that you guys truly are masters in your profession…no one knows what goes in to a wedding. No one, that is, with the exception of Kim Moody Design. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. This past weekend was the best time of my life.

Kim Moody Design was an amazing team to work with for my wedding! We used Honey and her team for planning and for the florals. I could not have imagined my wedding day without them. Honey had every minute of the wedding and reception planned out and on schedule. Just knowing Honey was there, I had no worries on my wedding morning. The florals that Kim Moody Design put together were breathtaking! Everything I could have asked for, they provided. I will always remember how the day looked, but also how I felt because of everything Honey and her team worked so hard to provide. I would absolutely recommend Kim Moody Design for wedding planning and for the beautiful florals.

You both gave us the best gift on our wedding day – peace of mind. I am so thankful that you both were there to coordinate everything, and it really made me be able to relax and actually enjoy my wedding day. So many of my friends told me the day would fly by and that I wouldn’t remember anything, but they were wrong. You both gave me the chance to take those pauses, take a breath here and there (my dress was TIGHT), and really be present throughout the whole day and the reception. You both really did such an amazing job, this card probably doesn’t even begin to do it justice. To the both of us, the wedding was flawless. We have received so many compliments on how well the wedding was produced, and I can’t take any credit for that – it was you. Kim Moody Design really is the best in the business, and I am so honored that you were a part of our big day.

Dear Kim Moody Design-

Where do we begin? Thank you SO much for all of your help and support during our wedding planning period. You single-handedly brought our vision together into a beautiful and gorgeous masterpiece. We could not imagine working with anyone else and we appreciate all that you did for us leading up to our big day and on our wedding day itself. You have become friends and we only hope that we were never “that couple.” LOL. Thank you for easing our minds, relieving our stress, and being absolute rockstars! We miss talking to you guys on the regular but hope we can meet for drinks next time we’re in Richmond.

Mother of the Bride

This morning, as I reflect on my daughter’s wedding which took place two days ago; I’m savoring not only a delicious slice of leftover wedding cake, but also a bouquet of poignant moments and sweet memories from that entire weekend. I can honestly say, as I reminisce over the last 48 hours, I have not one trace of regret or lingering “if only” thoughts. That is largely due to the wonderful wedding planning services of Kim Moody Design. Not only did the planner and her assistant take care of every detail from start to finish on the wedding weekend; but also provided a wealth of support and creative inspiration throughout the panning process the entire year. For the rehearsal and the wedding day, the planners were an awesome duo, multitasking the various vendors, people, and personalities involved. They were super flexible when we decided on a whim to completely change up the bride and grooms exit from one end of the venue property to the other. They seamlessly coordinated the sudden change with the photographer and videographer at the last minute. Also, at one point during the reception as I noticed several guests starting to leave, I started to panic and urged our planner that we needed to speed the evening along and wrap things up quicker to keep the guests happy. She assured me this was a normal response at all weddings, and then directed my attention to the dance floor where I observed my daughter and her new husband, and all of their friends having the time of their lives. I was grateful and humbled by her wisdom in that moment that reminded me who that day was really about. Had she not exercised her wisdom in that moment, I might have missed one of my sweetest memories of the day when the bride and groom were surrounded by just a handful of their dearest friends and family for a dusk departure. I am so glad I invested in the KMD team. They were invaluable!
